Allusions

Once I saw an episode of Saturday Night Live where Garrett Morris sang Danny Boy. He didn'’t just sing it, he sang it perfectly with an Irish lilt so that if your eyes were closed you just knew the person singing it was Irish, but if you opened your eyes it was just a black man in a leprechaun suit. The spell was broken and your all your beliefs were questioned.
